Meet Our Founders
The Wade Investment Fund came to fruition thanks to the first four inaugural students: Rachel Cwick, Mickerson Joseph, Justin Pangburn, and Zachary Edwards along with Professor Sandeep Singh.
How It All Started
The Wade Investment Fund started in the Fall Semester 2022, funded by alumni and friends of SUNY Brockport. It began with an asset value of ~$100,000, with the aim to give students hands-on experience managing a portfolio
Who We Are, Where We Came From, and Where We’re Headed
The fund was made possible by the support of brothers Chuck and Ethan Wade, both Senior Vice Presidents and financial advisors for Brighton Securities. Additional individual support came from James Campbell, Virginia Campbell, Janie Hill, Paul Purfield, and Karen Webber as well as corporate support from RBC Wealth Management, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, Canandaigua National Bank & Trust, Advantage Federal Credit Union, Iconoclastic Capital, and Double Diamonds Financial Solutions.
